While I know many Nickelback haters will be displeased if WWE once again uses "Burn It To The Ground" as the opening song, there's always a chance that it's not going to be the the theme song for forever.ĭon't forget to tune in to tonight's highly anticipated edition of Raw to find out exactly what song will be used as the permanent intro song for the foreseeable future, and be sure to drop a comment as well with your thoughts on the matter. It's also possible WWE could unveil an all-new song tonight on Raw, but that too is a long shot since it would have debuted last week during Raw 1,000. Obviously, everyone has different taste in music, so there will of course be others who would be satisfied with hearing the original as the weekly intro. Hopefully, if this said version of the Outasight hit single is used instead, I will be much more content at the start of every Raw.

I had the temptation to even download it onto my iPod, but a full-length version is not currently available.
Unlike the aforementioned pop song, this newly-remixed edition sounded much better and catchier. The song was later heard much more clearly during the Raw recap during SmackDown last Friday, where it sounded like a rap version of "Tonight Is The Night." Throughout the course of the epic event, another tune could be heard playing in the background while the commentators were hyping the WWE Championship main event match. Don't get me wrong, "Tonight Is The Night" is a good song, but I'd rather not hear it as I prepare for my weekly tradition of watching Raw.

I've already been subjected to listen to Flo Rida's ever-so-popular "Good Feeling" for two different WWE pay-per-views, so having to listen to yet another watered-down pop song that hardly fits a pro wrestling program will grow tiresome quickly. Many believe that the theme used from 2002 to 2006 entitled "Across The Nation" by Union Underground is the greatest theme in the show's history (which is hard to argue with) and should make a return, but despite its immense popularity, the chances of that happening are slim to none. wwe images RAW-11-4-2011-randy-orton-20987565-686- Smack-Down-WWE-Raw-background-HD-2013 WWE-Raw-Pc-Game-Full-Version-1 WWE-Raw-wwe-16933808-1920-1200. Unfortunately, I don't get that same feeling when listening to "Tonight Is The Night," rather I just feel the need to fall asleep instead. Being the Nickelback fan that I am (save me the hate comments), I felt the song was perfect for the program and got me pumped before watching some hard-hitting action.
Since November 2009, "Burn It To The Ground" by Nickelback was the first tune you heard when tuning in to Raw each week. WWE has gradually started using more and more pop songs for their events in recent years, rather than the traditional rock music many fans have grown to love. Personally, when I first heard that "Tonight Is The Night" could be the official new opening theme for Raw, from that point on, I was a bit disappointed.
